many of you may have read this online, or from your local news paper, but if not, here it is, regarding gun laws and the 2 A

I think that the problem that these judges are having with Bruen, is self imposing of one's will.
I don't think that they want to understand it and are desperate to try to get around New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen.

Yep it was in ours as well. I do not support or subscribe to our local paper since it's owned by a California newspaper group.
I get it online for free and basically scan the deaths and local news before they lock me out for the day.

well, my Mrs wants the coupons and sales fliers that are included with the sunday paper, and i want the comics, and home/garden section, so for that, i will continue to purchase that rag, and do as i wish with MY conservative SS check.....

All the coupons you wife seeks are in the stores printed flyer that's usually in a basket on a stand as soon as you walk into the store. The comics and gardening sections you enjoy can easily be found on line for free. You are on line now going to this site aren't you?

I too am retired and on SS but go out of my way to avoid supporting those that work to take OUR rights away. I'm not involved in AARP as they support candidates who stand on the opposite side of what I believe. I'm signed up with AMAC an equal organization that supports conservative candidates. I don't subscribe to the liberal newspapers in this area and get my news from conservative sources. I do however go to one of the "enemy" news sources at least once a day just to see what socialist garbage they are hawking today.

So after reading something that upset you so much you brought it to this board. You were then given well thought out suggestions and advice. You respond with a resounding and somewhat childish "no...I don't wanna". What more can be said? You sir are your own problem. I've included a screenshot of what upset you so much just for convenience.

No need to argue and fuss about Old-me posting the article here. The article shows how biased the paper is for sure if you pay attention. I suspect that is why he posted it. It also shows how many people are being influenced (or brainwashed). But we are among friends here. As the saying goes, don’t shoot the messenger! Whether or not you agree with continuing the subscription should not be reason to attack your friends. Whether you realize it or not, you are being manipulated too. “United we stand, divided we fall.”

Seriously guys?
Wow I remember on this forum where issues and opinions were discussed in a gentlemanly fashion and not as a safe space. Apparently that has changed drastically since I've last been here. It's a shame this WAS an interesting site at one time. I'm out...later.

and I WILL CONTINUE to buy the Sunday paper.....here's a novel idea....put me on ignore, and not have to read anymore of my posts, if THEY UPSET YOU...?????

My local delivered paper (Birmingham News) will cease printing the end of February (2023) -- sucksalot as I like the sports, lifestyle and comics. Mrs. Tinyman enjoys the crossword puzzles.

which is part of the reasons i buy the Sunday paper too...also i forgot to mention, many times either the wife or i will try one of the many recipes in the food section, that are from the local people or eateries.
