Gun shop up the road has a Barrett M99 and a high dollar scope still in the box wrapped up and a huge cantilever mount. i looked it up and what they want is an awesome deal. even has some ammo with it. they want 5 grand for all of it. it all new. i get tempted every time i go in there. thing weighs 25 pounds without the scope and it's green.

With the Tommy accepting Barrett mags is a plus. Probably shoots as well as the Barrett? If I get into the very large calibers with very large cartridges I'll protect the 416barrett elr-mrad as barrel exchanges are quick and easy. I like the Tommy design

Very fun and cool but In this day and age of fixed income and overall downsizing i only buy what I actually have a need and use for. So unless I move out west and run into graboids, that's not in my future.
