A man who allegedly tried to rob a couple at Penn Station in Manhattan got a surprise when they turned out to be off-duty police officers.

The husband and wife officers were in plainclothes and awaiting a train on the platform for the Long Island Rail Road when 32-year-old Jahmar Stewart approached them at about 7 p.m., according to a New York Police Department spokesperson.

Stewart tried to rob the man but instead got into a scuffle with him.

That's when the would-be victim's wife pulled out her firearm and shot Stewart in the arm and the gut.

Shot in arm and gut.
I stand by my officers need more firearms training statements.

The thing is that the extra training will never happen, especially in blue states and cities.
To be fair, and oh how I hate to be fair, training $$$ are finite. With the ever-growing list of mandated "training" by politicians and the courts, it's a wonder they get minimal firearms training. Every year we had to be subjected to one hour of fire extinguisher training. It's not that hard, we don't need an hour. I got it the 1st time, by the 25th time I was ready to beat someone with the red can. Maybe I could have used that hour for anger management. ;)

Don't forget about sensitivity training.

Don't forget about sensitivity training.
I didn't I was just not going to go there. BUT since you brought it up, sensitivity my Yankee ***! How about treat everyone with respect until they have shown they don't deserve it? And, for me, I get to decide where that line is not anyone else, same as I don't get to decide for you where the line is. And while we are on the subject, sort of, screw the rat body cameras, Monday morning quarterbacking pencil pushers taking all the time in the world to find fault in situations where you had seconds to act.
No need to do cardio exercise today. OldGrunts got my heart pumping in good shape :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
