I turned a RIA 9mm Rock Standard into the same getting a .38S barrel fitted.

I also did that. Turned a RIA 9mm TACT II into a 38 Super. Seriously doubt I'll ever put the 9mm barrel back in.

.38 Super is my new favorite caliber. Mine is a Regulator and it is a really nice gun. I managed to put three shots in the same hole at 15 yds. I’m not surprised when I do that with a red dot, but when I have to wear readers to shoot iron sights and the front sight effectively covers the 4in targets I’m usually happy just to be on target.
