Top 5 Springfield Bug-Out-Ready Firearms

Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Top 5 Springfield Bug-Out-Ready Firearms” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/top-5-springfield-bug-out-ready-firearms/.

I really enjoy the magazine and info inside and the ability to leave a reply. I read many informaty articles along with the input and feed back. I have been in the military and served in different agency's and when my days ended in the field I became a training officer for security teams plus working with sheriff's department and setting up rural neighborhood watch program. So many of the articles published are directed toward people who are mobile and some articles are pointing towards family to assist elderly and disabled. There are a lot of folks that are not mobile because of both age and disabilities and are not sure what can be done to stay safe until help can arrive. Once in awhile I would like a article or two which could be of help to the family members and some ideas that seniors still living on there own that could give that extra time needed to be safe until help arrives. One of my important things is if I put my wife in our safest place with a secured door is a password so when I knock and give the word she knows it's ok. Don't want to bother your trend but our family likes some of the info on what can be done and what to do. Keep up the great work and info.

Hi,

Yes, definitely written for us Springfield fan boys, including me. ;) I have a couple from this list. But I'm inclined to "bug in" as my first choice. If I really had to leave my home I'd take a shotgun, AR, 2 or 3 pistols (9 and 45), folding 22 rifle, and my 9mm FPC. Aww, who am I kidding? I don't have that many that I couldn't take them all. I wouldn't want to leave anything behind.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
