Not sure if you’re referring to the AOS model or not, but that’s what I have. I really like it. It’s light, easy to carry, and I find it accurate with the dot I have on it. I don’t regret the purchase one bit and it sits proudly next to my 4.25 AOS Emissary and 4.25 Ed Brown Kobra Carry. Have not had one malfunction with either of these. Several hundred rounds through both, FMJ and JHP, though all 230g.
Yes, I was and thanks for info. Wish more people understood:
“Why is it so important that I agree with you?”
“You can be helpful, polite and informative…or insulting, arrogant and ignored…the choice is yours.”
First, the bad news…I forgot to take photos of guns at the range so there is a photo at the end of the two after I cleaned them up.
Now the good news! This past Saturday I mounted a Holosun 507 C ACSS Vulcan on the Emissary and a Trijicon Trijicon RMR® HRS Type 2 on the TPS. All screws came with optics, 25 inch pound torque plate to slide on both, 15 inch pound torque optic to plate on both. Bit of blue loctite all around.
So today I packed up a couple hundred rounds of American Eagle 230g FMJ to head to the range and sight in the optics, then compare the two guns (and optics).
My TRP AOS Carry has become my primary carry piece. The weight and size are ideal for me. I put the mounting plate and an optic on mine. A word of advice-pay attention to the torque values and locktiting the mounting screws when you mount an optic as they can work loose on you under recoil
