Han's Blastech DL-44 heavy blaster was a C96 “Broomhandle” Mauser.
Sticking with Star Wars—the Stormtroopers' pistols were Sterling SMG's...
But, in a few scenes in “Star Wars” (having seen the original releas in theaters, I refuse to call it “Episode 4” or “A New Hope”) they also carried heavier, rifle-type blasters...name what one of them were based off of.
