U.S. Strikes three Iranian Nuclear Sites

Kept in perspective, the Iranian regime is a mad dog that has been running amok in the region since 1979. If we had a leader in 1979 with the balls to take the crazy mullahs out, countless lives could have been saved. I for one would like to see them hanging the Ayatollah and IRGC leaders from a light pole in front of our former embassy in Tehran.

I agree that Iran must never have nuclear weapons. It had to be done.
However, I am concerned about the backlash. Iran is gonna want some big payback. I fear for our servicemen and citizens all around the globe. However, I also fear that the U.S. itself will be targeted inside our borders.
Might be time to put the J-frame away and go back to carrying the 1911 again.
The fact is there's going to be some sort of backlash no matter what we do or don't do. In this case, it's what we don't do. If we don't do anything, picture a mushroom cloud going up in the city nearest to you. I'll take the angry liberal protesters over that any day of the week

To me that's the biggest concern is all the "Immigrants" who have been allowed to come in mostly unvetted since 2001. Are there Iranian "Sleeper cells" here ? Who knows. May not just be Iranians either. Shi'ites may decide to start armageddon all at once.

As far as the Ayatollah and the Mullah's response/retaliation, I'm pretty sure our military can handle itself. And I wouldn't rule out a US "Counter retaliation" effort against any Iranian action that would give them serious pause. Like Trump or hate him, one thing is for sure, he's unpredictable.

What was done was long overdue……
Iran hates and wants to destroy everyone who doesn’t agree with their ideology, what concerns me is Iran has had decades to install (Sleeper Cells) in this country so if still active they will cause havoc.
The one thing I disagree with on this latest US action is they stopped to quickly.
The US is talking about probably only set them back a couple years, they need; HAVE to continue to pound them until they can NEVER get back to the point of developing Nuclear Weapons.

The J frame is more reliable. Start carrying two 😂

This isn't about oil, this is about Iran getting nuclear weapons. We aren't putting boots on the ground. We gave Iran plenty of chances, they refused. Now they have nothing. The last thing we need is an islamic regime getting their hands on nukes.
not to be a gadfly, but there IS another country which is officially and culturally of that same faith albeit the Sunni version and not the Shiite version of Iran. It's called Pakistan and they have had the bomb for decades and never used it. The US has been a trade partner and supported it with aid for a very long time. The leadership are not clerics/Mullahs it should be noted.

It should also be noted that our main Arab ally/partner in the region openly discusses their need for a N Bomb if Iran gets on and is covered currently by the US nuclear umbrella. You can be sure they signed off on the attacks both by Israel and the US, behind the scenes. They are Saudi Arabia, who has been incessantly badgered and attacked by missile and terrorists from Iran for years. Again, Saudis are of the Sunni version, Wahhabi to be exact and are a longtime US and Western Europe partner.

The Saudi crown Prince stated in an interview that the Iran regime was on par with Hitler. There was no love there and many Muslim countries don’t consider Iram in their club.

One point…while an atomic bomb would be extremely bad in Iranian hands, the concept of a dirty bomb would be nearly as bad. A ship manned by martyrs ( if they are told the cargo), berthed in NY harbor and loaded with many kilos of plutonium could still be lethal. Imagine a cloud of plutonium covering most of NYC. Radiation poisoning anyone? Could be any port but the Iranians seem to have a special dislike for NYC. Symbol of capitalism.

Iran needs to get up on the times about NY then. NYC is more screwed up than they are. I often call it the Iran of America.

Not to downplay this scenario, but plutonium and uranium make lousy dirty bombs and acquiring these elements is highly complex. There are more suitable substances in our hospitals, industrial sites, etc. which are easier to obtain and use.

There have been Iranian sleeper agents in the U.S. since the late 70's.

And also about Trump, you may not like him but many wouldn't have liked Grant, Pershing, Patton, MacArthur, or Schwartzkopf either. That's the thing about strong leaders, they do what they think is right regardless of other opinions. And you damn sure won't ignore them.

Name one time—one—that US intervention since the 1950’s in that region has made things better for the people there.

One example.
shopping festival in qatar every year
its better than black friday :ROFLMAO:
sorry i just had to

but
as a sailor having to sail in the northern arabian gulf, iran always made our life hell, small boats running out firing at us, yet we were not allowed to sink their sorry rears . we always had to turn and ignore..

then kerrry sold our sailors to iran to make the nuke deal go through.

i hoped that after the bunker busters, the c130s would have flown in with moabs dropped right into the new holes
then tomahawk to remove the supreme leader and then the a few to destroy the rest of their navy

This is sort of surreal for me to consider that in February 1979 when the Shah was deposed, I was in Law Enforcement college at a facility that hosted an English Language Learning Center with about 400 Iranians attending. Students in the LE program were members of the police cadet corps/Campus Police, and were commissioned through the local Sheriff.

We were called to assist the city police in keeping protests peaceful and did about a week worth of enhanced foot patrol. That was when my love affair with the 870P began and my disdain for the "pepper fog generator" (looked like an overgrown leaf blower) began.

A flip of that-name one time allowing a nation that hates you to get nuclear weapons has made the world a safer or better place. I hate us being involved, BUT the Assahola and his minions could not be allowed to get nukes. They have been a pain in the A.. since 1979 and have killed a bunch of Americans over the years. The US should have eliminated these nut jobs 46 years ago, would have saved the entire world a ton of BS.

^^ This. And frankly, I don't care if it makes it a better place for the people living there. I care if it prevents us or someone else from being NUKED.

God knows how many terrorists have crossed our southern border in the past 4 years. Is there a risk there? Darn straight. Stay heeled and keep your eyes open. And if attacks occur, remember they were going to happen sooner or later anyway. Iran didn’t put them here not to use them.
