UPS stories again

Well I finally did my 4473 on my CZ 75 compact today. While I was doing it today I asked them if they where open on Saturday because UPS said they where closed. The response I got was that UPS didn’t put it on the truck because they didn’t want to deliver it and they have bitched at UPS several times because of stuff like this.

Personally I’m getting tired of UPS this week screwing stuff up.

I'm experiencing a Fedex screw up right now.

Bought some stuff from an outfit in AR, the tracking showed it went on a slow wagon train for two days into Kansas, then suddenly it turned up in central Ohio the wrong way from MT. It just left Ohio this morning.

Somebody needs a compass.

I had ammo scanned to the trailer for my local hub than it ended up in Michigan. When I got it Monday it was more bent out of shape than I was. USPS is even worse.

I've lived at my address for over 30 years. I have received ups for the entire 30 years. I now have a ups driver who sends my items back for 1. No gate access, (there is no gate)
2. Dogs, ( i dont have any outside dogs)
3. No such address exists. (I've as stated lived here for 30 years and had 100s of ups delivered l).

I have file complaints 3x ive had to physically go to the ups hub and pick up my items, before being sent back. I've been told he's a lazy driver. But no one does anything about him.

They’re full union at that moment. I could go off on the union they use but I won’t.

the union protects such lazy drivers....sad fact too, they make great $$$ per hour......

They delivered it yesterday. UPS isn’t the brightest bulb out there. Times like this I wish they used FedEx.
i spoke of my last FedEx fiasco........nearly 1 month vacation stay at their NJ hub........my package sat.

no explanation...no appology.

UPS, USPS and FedEx, are just no longer viable shipping companies any more.

DHL, (whom i had hauled their freight) stopped their operations here in the USA, back in the early to mid 2000's...

there were back then, only allowed to take stuff off thier planes, that came from other countries, and they could only deliver them in the USA....they were allowed to ONLY pick up freight from here, then take back to the airports for return flights back to Germany..

originally founded in San Fran, CA, they were bought out by the German Postal Service.

things may have changed since the ceased operations here in the states, i just do not keep up with them.

did things run any better when i hauled for them...??

uhhh...NO........i can tell you of MANY broken packages, that were put onto MY truck, nearly every night.

so in the end.......we all take our chances with whom ever the online retailer has as thier shipper.

and we will ALL complain...take the BS.....and like it.

I had an outside dog, then the city fined me for keeping my sister-in-law chained next to the front door. (It bugged the hell out of my next-door neighbor.)

I know about the Union job stuff. All I’ll say is the pay is there but I was doing better in a non union warehouse job. If the economy wasn’t so bad, I’d love to get a pay cut and be happy. But the job I have now has gotten me 8 or 9 guns this year.
