State laws are pretty clear about use of firearms. Just have to wade thru the 1000 pages
The Statutes probably are only a couple dozen pages .
The Case Law is really thick .

Thanks for all the welcomes and sorry its been a while since I've been on. It's been hectic here for the past few weeks.
Anyway, I'm thinking I need to take a "refresher" course as it has been over a decade, and closer to two since I first obtained my carry permit here in Tennessee. The gun shop where I took my course closed a few years back. There are a few other places that offer the course, but I don't need to take the original course again. I already qualified years ago and just need a refresher on the legal aspects as I know that they have changed over time. For example, we can now constitutionally carry without a license as long as it is open carry. There are two different carry permits, but the differences are as clear as mud. I can't find anyone who can explain exactly what the differences are. At least not two people who can agree on everything to do with them!!
I'm in the Memphis, TN area. If anyone knows of a refresher style course in my area that doesn't require the shooting portion, I'd appreciate the info. I do enough practice shooting that I don't need that part of the training.
