USPS tracking Sucks😡

Hey y’all,
I have 4 packages in route. All are being handled by the USPS. All have frozen in time. Labels have been created and USPS has picked up the packages. After that there’s no movement being shown on the tracker.
I’ve contacted the companies that I made the purchases from and they all say that they were indeed picked up by USPS.
One told me that USPS is going through updates to the tracking systems and to give it afew days.
I should have spent the extra money and used UPS or FEDEX.
Now I have four packages in limbo. My new IWB Kydex holster and magazine pouch for my Mil-Spec, 4 Chip McCormick 1911 8 round magazines, and a multiple magazine carrier for my range bag.
Anyone else having problems with USPPS?
I hate USPS out here in the Illinois Valley. I could tell you stories about packages going all over or packages passing each other coming out to me. Personally I try my best to do FedEx or UPS

Is it me, or does it seem this mostly happens with firearm related purchases?
It happens with everything, especially when USPS delivers the "last mile" for UPS, FedEx ect. companies drop it off to USPS and it can sit 2 weeks before it moves again. The more they increase the first class rate the slower service gets. They now have 7 days to deliver first class mail. I can send a birthday card to my son who lives 4 miles from me, first it goes on a one hour trip out of town to the "sorting" facility then 3 days later it takes that one hour trip back to town, sits 4 days and gets delivered on the 7th day.
Ridiculous!!
I remember when each local facility sorted their own mail and the next day it was delivered from the day it was picked up from the mailbox.

a fedex package from kentucky was sent to me po box, but got delivered to my physical yesterday. delivered on time, but how the heck did they know where i lived! just glad it was at the correct house! when i pull up google maps the house numbers are different on my house compared to actual numbers. when it comes to 911 addresses for police and medical responders out in this neck of the woods, they are truly lost! i've had to help them many times to get to where they need to be! so, it's not just usps, ups or fedex. and yes, tracking is terrible with all 3.

I just got the holster and wouldn’t you know it…. They sent the wrong one! Now I get to start the Exchange or Refund process. This just isn’t my week😡
my daughter that just graduated wanted to have jewelry that would be the same colors of the college she plans on attending, so she ordered some.....................when the package arrived it wasn't just the wrong color it was addressed to someone else in a different state..........that pretty bad on usps's part!

she was going to wear them for the graduation ceremony............so much for that 🤬

I never have good luck with USPS and wife stopped using them for shipping cookies (home business) because just had too many problems which caused anxiety on every shipment. When it’s cookies for an event on a specific day, it makes for an even worse issue and disappointment. Switched to UPS/FedEx and she sleeps much better on days she ships :)

They drop ship to either local or regional usps office for delivery. Both ups and FedEx does this.
Yes that is the last mile, delivery I referred to earlier. But I was not aware that they actually would deliver it to a USPS post office box. Usually it is to your residence.
Usually it's referred to as a ground saver or super saver shipping by allowing USPS to do the final delivery to your residence, something along those lines.

That's a real pain in the butt.
Yep. But on a positive note. Customer service representatives are aware of the situation and will send me the correct one as soon as I get the return package scanned in at the Post office tomorrow morning. It seems the disconnect was with some new guys who just started working in the shipping department. They said their names are S. Wonder and R. Charles😎😎

UPDATE:
Just got a email from the Customer Service Department representative stating that they have retooled everything to make only Optics Ready holsters.
I’m getting a refund. I know where I can get what I want and talk to a live person who will help me out.
