This should be of interest for everyone. Especially if like most here you or loved ones carry firearms for defense and are not familiar with the case of LAPD Officer Toni McBride you should make yourself familiar.

Where this is relevent to civilian shootings is with all the go fast cyclic split time BS I see pushed in the defensive world this is not just a LE issue

And proof you can be found “justified” and unless you are in a state that has self defense immunity (this isn’t for those of us that are to praise how good we have it) you can still find yourself on the hot seat!

Basic case Officer McBride shot a knife welding perp 6 times was cleared by the department however the civilian review got hung up on last two shots not being needed.
That came into the in again off again civil trial AND the fact she was a grand master USPSA shooter with videos of USPSA matches on social media and she also trained with Taran Butler aka Taran Tactical

It's supposed to be totality of circumstances, and case law backs it up.

But then again, we're talking about Kaliphornia

Yes and one would think the US Supreme Court would have factored that in .not sure why as any judgment against here will ultimately get appealed for that reason.

While the late shots on some can make a good shoot bad gbis was nowhere near that
