I think they see product lawsuits comingHonestly, do they think this will stop the switches? There's millions of them in the marketplace. New model or not the old that can be switched will be around for decades.

For everyone saying it's about the switches... it's more than likely about the money in the form of patents. Re-engineering product manufacturing lines isn't something you do in the short term.
No 9mm MOS guns in wave 1. Glock 23 but no Glock 22. Non-9mm MOS options to start. No COA guns at all. Very strange.
I will hold the position it’s all about the preventing lawsuits against Glock unless they stop the ability for the average person to 3d print a switch and stick it in a Glock in 30 seconds.
While not a firearms engineer, I’m having a difficult time coming up with anything Glock could add that will lead to new patents preventing any other company from copying them.
