Arterial? Really? Hes got High blood pressure that he takes meds for plus aspirin. I bet you a shinny quarter thats the cause, of course it could be a tumor....(sarcasm)
They didn't cover it with a bandaid or gauze and tape .... 🙄
i dunno, she was an "older" person, seemed to me she has been doing the job for some time.

my left arm is usually the "donor", as the vein is very easy to spot

a bandage was put on and taped.

but i think not enough pressure was applied to make the blood clot.

i have had poked so many times, its a matter of rolling up the sleeve, turn my head and cough

i dunno.........

if it gets worse over the weekend, i will just walk into the office on Monday, unless they are closed for the holiday, let the doctor know of the labs mistake.

To me, I’d raise Hell. Also if it gets any worse I’d do an office over it.
i told this new doctor of mine, the lab screwed up my lead level blood test, (maybe 2 - 3 years ago now) by using the wrong vial, and failed to call me, to go back for another sample...my former doctor got involved, when i emailed him, via the patient portal for the results.

the lab said "they were going to contact me".........but when..????

we needed to know my lead levels NOW

so from that day on, i went to a different company lab...

since this is my NEW primary doctor, i told him the story, and that for him, "i will try the doctors office lab again"

i will keep "an eye" on this area, and by monday, know what i should do....

but most likely too, i will email him and tell him of the BS, and most likely, will NOT be using his lab again.

well wouldn't you know it, Brown Medical, as in Brown University, sent me a survey on my visit last week..you know all the simple questions about the staff, and doctor and my care..

the at the end of the survey was a space for "comments"

and boy, did i comment...on the vampire, the blood running down my arm, and the various colors of the wound, and the swelling.

since i used names of the doctor, mine and other personal items, and must be "eradicated language" i could not post it here, as you'd lose the ire of the experience that day, getting jabbed by that blood sucking *****.....

no name was needed (my name)...but I GAVE them my name, to validate my language filled disgust, of leaving a gallon of my blood there, on the floor, on my clothing, and in the blood collection vials......
