verizon, serious with this crappola..???

My internet is 1 gig, whatever that means. I have a bunch of channels but nothing good on tv. Maybe i'm just tired of watching. I don't turn it on during the day usually. Thats my reading time. I have been searching for a new pistol but haven't come across anything that i'm interested in. As a matter of fact I might go tomorrow to the range before the wind comes.

I'm so old you say 300/300 and I think baud, remember the squealing noises, then the snail connection. When they went to 1200/1200 wow. Then 2400/2400. WOW! Ours is 459DL and 87UL. My best half connects to the USPTO and does a lot there. No gaming for either of us. I do these forums. Works fine for that stuff. And we read a LOT. So as long as I can shuffle Kindle content I'm good.

sometimes, i miss the AOL CD, and dial up......came in REAL handy for watching online porn sites, for all that pausing or buffering and gave us slow-mo stuff.......

yes i despise verizon
yes we still have them, because in our thicket they are the only ones that work
BUT
as far as bills, and i know many may not be able to do this
we just one day said lets try this because we travel or traveled alot
i use bill pay via my bank
on the 1st or the 1st business day of the month all get paid from my bank
some are due the 1st and some are due the 7th or even the 17th
for us , everything goes out the 1st and then we go about life and dont track days and when xxxy or q or is due
the best thing about bill pay with the bank, it goes to the payee via the banks system and they accept it.. so it paid the day the bank transmits
not 3 to 5 days bolanga to process
I left out, bill pay you set the dates to pay if you want to wait to due date
i get a transmit number and its good as gold

We used to have G-Tec for internet and DTV for television. G-Tec needed a huge tower antenna on my roof for line of sight to a tower 6 miles away. High winds were always breaking the guy wires. And I was always worried that the antenna was like a giant lightening rod, and lightening would strike our house. Speeds were slow. DTV became ridiculous with their prices. We finally went with Starlink (best thing we ever did in regard to internet). Fast speeds and they were able to utilize my old DTV mount on the roof, so no need for drilling more holes up there. Then my wife acquired some kind of "magical" black boxes that stream the internet and get every channel known to mankind. I'm afraid to surf the dirty movie selections, in fear of coming across one of Belt Fed's home dirty movies! Whatever she got, I'm sure it is illegal, but she tells me not to worry about it. Just enjoy.
I believe I am in possession of those magical black boxes you speak of. Yep, every channel known to modern mankind, and then some. They work well but there’s still nothing much on of interest, except for the old westerns and comedy shows. 😎
