not any different than when either the colonel or general stated it was a "full semi-auto"...............goes to show there are stupids everywhere! civilians CAN get m4's just as they CAN get full-auto mp5's with paperwork and a living will...........there are a few who have them locally...................cost $25,000+

as far as i could tell the receiver had the markings and wasn't a conversion using super safeties or frt's.

Try $50k + for an original HK full auto.
As for Colt m4 ….anyone can get them.
Anyone can get about any rifle or MG with proper permits and $$$$

I owned two m16 rifles for 30+ years.
Bought in the early 80's for under 2k each. They were fun, getting expensive to feed.
Sold them when I needed open heart surgery. My wife didn't need that headache if I didn't make the trip back.
Made a heck of a profit from what I paid for them.

I did see where there was some listed at 25k, but that was a decade ago or so. The people that have them are loaded with money thanks to their grandpa.

It was a easy decision .... I was single when bought in the early 80's, trusts weren't a thing then. I didn't even meet my wife until 2015Sucks to lose the rifles. Glad you’re here to tell about it
