SAINT
When training novices I always included considerations for choosing a handgun. I used this visual to illustrate the balance of speed, power, and accuracy to dominate in armed conflict, integrated with the shooter's personal fit to the gun and intended use. For example, Not enough power and it may not get the job done. Too much power and accuracy may suffer. If it is painful to shoot, the shooter won't practice. A tiny concealable gun that you can't get to affects speed and is of little use if you can't get to it in time. If it doesn't fit your hand or you can't operate it effectively it is of little use. And so on. Feel free to use the graphic if you like.
