Warmest head wear (beanie)?

I have a Fjallraven Nordic heater but don’t want to look like Cousin Randy all the time and need something a little more packable. I’m looking a good warm beanie, the 30 dollar Carhartt just isn’t cutting it below freezing. Any recommendations on wool, wool blend fleece?
I know some of y’all live in some pretty cold places.
Thanks

I prefer rag wool to any polyester blend.
Far better in terms of warmth than polyester or polyester blend, IMO.

I hope to never need to wear one of these again

When it's that cold I don't care about fashion, I have a Cousin Randy's hat, the Mad Bomber, it's warm and does the job.
As for the cool, warm beanie, this is good and cheaper than my over priced Carhart;

A beanie is not going to be a serious cold weather hat. Now that has been addressed let’s move on.

The Trapper, Mad Bomber, or a hood are the answer to your question. Fashion shouldn’t be a deciding factor if you’re cold. My Trapper is a Badger fur model, I rarely wear it if temperature is above 17f.

Stormy Kromer gets me through most days and pulling the hood over can really help. You might just need to find a coat with a hood.

Love my stormy Kromer !

Thanks Jester, what Brand do you is up there in Minnesota Bella?
I would prefer wool but the Fjallraven I have is thicker double layer wool and the Carhartt that’s half the price does a better job.
The Nordic heater is good if stationary but beanie worked best for situational awareness, keeps ears warm with minimal interference. I like to hear if something is coming up on me. I have thought about the Sitka with wind stopper.
There jacket is easily the warmest jackets I have ever owned.
