Waypoint Day 1

I am amazed with my new Waypoint .308. It's paired with a NightForce NX8 4-32X50 SFP and a Q Trash Panda suppressor. I did the barrel break-in procedure and then I zeroed it 2" high at 100. Then I let it cool. The next string of fire was 5 rounds at 200. Shooting Federal Premium Gold Medal Match 168g BTHP rounds, forgiving the weapon for my one flyer, and using sloppy Marine Corps crayon-crunching math, I have four rounds in .22 MOA. I am truly impressed. Other than making fun of a Marine doing math, what do you think about that?

Nice what was your break in procedure? If you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks
I used the Christensen Arms procedure...6 rounds, punch bore, 6 again and so one. You can find the specifics at Christensen Arms. I hope that helps. They go into a lot of detail.

I think that's some damn nice shooting sir. And thank you for your service.

Thanks, brother. It's the weapon and some fine Marine Corps training patiently offered by a marksmanship coach who deserved a medal for putting up with me...and good ammo. Semper fi!
