Well bite me on my ……..

Just got the last 2 issues of Guns magazine and American Handgunner….no more print editions…..I have been getting these magazines for years, just sucks, I blame all the anti gun rhetoric for this, hard to get advertisers and nobody wants to carry or show any gun magazines today…..to many freakin snowflakes out there…..
Well, most big box stores have stop selling firearm related magazines years ago. There's the fact that, unfortunately, you're in the minority of those who care about getting a paper copy. It's typically cheaper and more efficient to go digital.

No one reads magazines anymore. All the time they spend talking smack on forums has ruined everyone’s attention span.
Younger people are still reading, but it's online and in digital form rather than in text. They also get a lot of the same information in video form. Other than that, I've been a member of many forums where most of the members are older and retired, and they are just as grumpy and argumentive as anyone else if not more. The internet age has everyone acting a fool online when they would not dare behave the same way in person. I'm guilty of this myself.

I just think it's a matter of convenience, cost, and not having a pile of random magazines laying around. They can discreetly read the information anywhere on their phone without having to tote around magazines with guns on the cover in the current environment. It's just a sign of the times and the era they grew up in where it's just more normal to read an article or book on a digital device like a phone, tablet, or an Amazon Kindle rather than a book. Their school text books have even gone digital in many cases...

I personally just want the information, and don't if it's digital. I don't want a stack of mags cluttering my home either....

My Walmart still has gun magazines, plus I don’t buy anything that I can’t touch it hold, or look at before I buy, that’s why I don’t buy guns online, I want to see and check out them before I buy them.,,,,

well now i will respond...

i only get 1 free magazine from the NRA,........ America's First Freedom...

and i only got that, so i could vote in the NRA elections, since my membership is at the 5 year point.

when i thumb thru it, instead of saving it or tossing it away, i drop it off at my club. they get NRA magazines, just not that one.

when i turned wrenches, i got many magazines geared up for auto/truck repairs that helped me in many ways.

when i drove trucks, i got a few trucking magazines.

in the end, i threw them away, i need not save any issues.

all magazine are good reading content, at our leisure, either at home, or on lunch break at work.

not too many of us have a smart phone, or tablet...i do at least have a desktop computer, so yes, i can read or watch a video from that point.

it should be asked first by the publisher if WE WANT to continue the paper product, do not just take it away.

the publisher should at least make an offer of say half or a third off the price for maybe 2 to 3 years on any digital subscriptions, to ease the pain of no more printed copies.

i and the wife STILL read an actual printed newspaper, that i only buy maybe 2 times a week now, no longer 7 days.....

yeah, times are changing, publishers, and editors and writers are graduates of video game playing in mom's basement, and may still be living down there, and sadly, they are in charge now.....known as the moronic future leaders......

Well motorcycle magazines went that way a few years ago. I’d read Cycle for decades, but alas no more. I freaking HATE digital magazines😡
