Just got an email from my local GUNTRY indoor range, they are ceasing all operations on 5/17/26, while I haven’t been over for a few months, wife was going to pay half with me to get a full year membership….guess that’s not happening now…….
get there ASAP, and use up your time/money that you paid for.......that's what i do, every time i renew my club membership or the public range membership.Just got an email from my local GUNTRY indoor range, they are ceasing all operations on 5/17/26, while I haven’t been over for a few months, wife was going to pay half with me to get a full year membership….guess that’s not happening now…….
then you didn't lose squat...other than another range to go to..Actually didn’t buy the membership yet, we were going to this week though, I have just been paying to shoot by the hour last few time I was out
they have to honor pre-paid accounts......at least here, when the public range jacked up thier prices 2 years ago, they did for all of us that had a membership paid up till the expiration dateBummer, I paid for my car wash membership and have 4 months left and they want to raise the price $5.00 more a month! I swear, the gull of these membership scammers, if they were going out of business I could understand but raising prices just to add to the national inflation rate is just Un-American!
Sorry for your loss......
No, since I retired back in 2012, there are new deputies there, and I can’t use there facilities now, I still belong to my Sportsman Club, I get a free honorary membership but it’s a lot further from me now since I moved, Guntry was closer, plus it was air conditioned.…..was a good suggestion sir, appreciate itSorry to hear of this, Annihilator. Any chance of shooting where your former department/employer trains and qualifies? I was able to take advantage of that for a spell, after retirement.
Just a thought. . .
what state is this located in..??
i tried Ohio, and WV........
Yes, actually, that's covered under the Uniform Commercial Code, pre-paid services are a liability to the service provider, even takes priority in Bankruptcy over other creditors. Those crooks never miss a beat!they have to honor pre-paid accounts......at least here, when the public range jacked up thier prices 2 years ago, they did for all of us that had a membership paid up till the expiration date
ok, i looked up WV, and no mention of the closing nor a reason.
