My grandpa gave me his 1894, made in 1908 or so, many years ago. It, and my other grandpa's cop S&W cop .38, have been honored and retired members of my safe. He also gave me two boxes of Western 170gr Super-X "Lubaloy" ammo. I feel like I should take a white tail with it to honor grandpa this year, the 10th anniversary of his death. Anyone know anything about that ammo?

I'm sure it would work for those MN white-tails.
But there are cartridge collectors out there that might be interested. I'd take then to you next gunshow to see if someone is interested. There's always a couple tables at our shows where folks have collections.
If they're a whole box with the original in good condition that would be best.
