Claim Number: PE37*********

Dear Claimant,

Your claim has been processed and is a valid claim. However, after calculating your claim’s payment amount, the amount falls below the $5.00 minimum distribution value. Per the terms of the Court-approved Plan of Distribution, your claim payment was calculated based on the Premiums and/or ASO Fees you paid to the Settling Defendants, the total Premiums and ASO Fees claimed by all claimants, and the total Fund available to pay all claims. Based on the total Premiums and/or ASO Fees you paid, the payment amount for your claim calculated below the $5.00 minimum distribution. Therefore, this claim will not receive a payment.

Have I got a story for you, but I get some HOT just thinking about it. I can't write it down.
My therapist told me "let it go"
Let it go....let it go....I can't let it go !!!

It should have been the attorneys that got the $5. :)

Most "Class Action" filings end up paying the lawyers more the people,
I did get about $34 from Facebook and recently got an email that I would receive a second payment since there was money left over after the original claims were paid.

Im just wondering what the case was about and how much you "lost"? How much do you think you are owed? Did you know you were a part of the case? Have communication with the attorneys?

Somehow I’m also a part of this. I’m also pretty sure I’ll be receiving a similar response.

I remember going through a bunch of nonsense to get about a dollar from Briggs & Stratton as part of an eleventy billion $ judgement.

If I understood correctly it amounted to insurance companies price fixing, and not passing on the savings. That’s about as simple as my brain could understand. Mind you this is about 2 years ago it came to my attention. I feel like I filled out a questionnaire 4 years ago, nothing to lose.

Recently received a $0.41 check from insurance company for an overcharge.

yeah...i ain't a fan the movie frozen, so i can't...."let it go".....but i am old, and Italo-American (meaning i was born American by Italian ancestry), and i get ticked off very easily where my mafia heritage makes me wanna hire a slew of hitmen, and go full bore on Blue Cross/Blue Shield's collective asses, but i am not wearing my wife beater t-shirt, with 'sghetti stains, and a 6 pm shadow......so no phone calls to the hitman's union hall.

still....$5.00...IS....$5.00.........that would have gotten me at least $5.00 CLOSER to the $185.00 price of a case of 9 mm ammo..

the god damned bastoidavitches......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

every time, i get a letter from a court administrator, saying i "might be" included in a class action suit, and if i want to join in, email them with the claim number.

they "traced me", thru credit card, or checks cashed", so the claims are legit.

i have been included in quite a few class action suits, and have ALWAYS gotten paid.......the highest was $25.00...the lowest was at least $3.00...YES....$3.00........

it was a BC/BS over-charging on premiums....

i paid by personal checks, so they traced ALL those that over paid

they simply audited ALL the members accounts

how much was i owed..??

i dunno, we were ALL in a class action suit to get a "cut", and depending on how many people wanted "in" on the class action suit...?? determined how much each person got.

2-3 years ago, i forgot, but yes, i too filled out the class action suit forms...

then let them do the homework.

"they could have" just given me credit towards my current BC/BS monthly premium and lost nothing

I only got $5 twice from Facebook. I’m going to sue for my other $24. 😆

Maybe since you didnt know you were over paying in the first place, you might consider it a win that you were part of making them pay out. Then dont only did they have to pay but they had to send you a letter that you won. Seems like a victory to me, be proud of it

i want my Maypo

I've been involved with cases like this. I may even be a part of this one, as I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield myself. Usually whenever I get some type of settlement out of companies, they send a pre-paid gift card/debit card for the amount of settlement in the mail. I'm involved in some kind of settlement issue right now with a company for about $50, but for the life of me, can't remember what company it is. I filled out a form for it months ago.
