Some Americans are more worried about political violence than others

YouGov has been polling regularly to find out what Americans are thinking. Here are some of the takeaways from YouGov's polling so far.

I found it interesting that 1/3 apparently believe violence in self defense is NOT ok. Really? 1/3 of folks think you should just roll over when attacked? Then the wonder why crime is so high. 1/3 won’t fight back, and then the legal system typically turns the thuggies loose. Gee, ya reckon that could be why street crime is up?

Personally people have a 1st amendment right to believe and say whatever they want. Yes there should be “the conversation” because we all see stuff differently. But if we have to get violent about it then yeah. Look what happened to CK.

Not in MY neighborhood! My sheriff says shoot home invaders and save taxpayers money. I do not believe there has been a home invasion in my county in 3 years since he said that.
