What an experience at the gun shop. Don’t think I’ll go there again.

I just used common sense and reading comprehension I suppose, but I could be wrong. It's not not typical practice for any gun shop to order a gun they don't have in stock, especially under their GSSF program, especially when it's for a newer customer. Then there the fact that the OP went through with the sale, when most able-minded people who could simply walk away because no money changed hands would have done so.

It only makes sense that he paid upfront for the gun shop to special order a Glock (the gun plus shipping) they didn't see fit to have in stock under the OP's GSSF credentials. If the OP hadn't paid beforehand, didn't have to work about a restock fee and refund, and could have simply turned and walked away instead of arguing, I assume (hope) he's also intelligent enough to have done so.

His LGS ordered it for him. More than likely funds were transferred BEFORE the order was placed for the wrong gun.

There might very well be more to the story though, you never know. I don't believe the MSRP for the G44 is near the G22, so that should have been a clue that something was off....

The difference in price is about 80 bucks.
Yes I put in a dispute with my bank telling them what they did. I’ll even admit I thought it was a steal but it wasn’t. We’re human and I tried to correct it with them but push came to shove to dispute it. I will not go back to that shop again after I got told by my range that I wasn’t the only one that got this treatment. Lesson has been learned and I’m doing what I have to do to make it right.

I paid upfront for the firearm which comes with the GSSF credentials and allocated 1 coupon per year for a Glock blue label that only certain dealers are allowed to sell. The dealer I went through was a blue label dealer and been a first time customer (and was thinking about been a repeat customer since I am up that way often enough) of dealing with them. I don’t like confrontation but tried to work it out with them but wasn’t getting anything accomplished by how I was been treated. After I walked out and went to my range and talked about it with them, they said they done this stuff to other customers they had (ordered the wrong stuff and get confrontational about it). Even Glock customer service said they should make it right. If they said they screwed up and will corrected it then I’d be fine with an up charge of 80 bucks on the correct firearm.
 
Anni guns are really confusing with their model numbers. who ever comes up with them might be on crack. for instance, an Anni 45 is a 9mm, whoda thought? same with the Anni 22, it.s not a 22. why not just give it another number that is not a caliber. besides all Anni guns look the same anyway.

I agree. No wonder why I just said no for a couple of years. I’m sure I’ll be happy doing it again
 
No, I used common sense based on how I know the process works as well as reading comprehension. Turns out I was right on the money....
