Putting away tools. It was a busy day.... It started when we discovered someone trying to steal our truck. What we thought was momma squirrel trying to build a nest for pending parenthood was actually momma expanding her apartment at the Dakota. This being my Dodge Dakota. She needed room for her three kids since dad was a deadbeat.

She had turned the insulation liner under the hood into her love nest. I served her eviction paperwork and threatened additional legal action, but only after studying the fine art of sciuridae condo construction. I pulled a permit for the build and went to work.

There was a break, union rules, and when I got back on the job site I found that she had fled. Since all of my tools were out I spent a little extra time with molding and wall board installation in the batcave.

Busy day.

Had the first cup and the husky was fed. She is currently outside enjoying the cooler air. Will go for a couple of walks before 9am. Other than that not much planned for today. Will get windy here again so will have to stay inside. Red flag conditions start at noontime so washing the cars would be fruitless today.

Just finished loading a bunch of 38 special for testing tomorrow. I have the 1911 I built ready for testing and my 586 I opened up the cylinder throats so going to test that too.
I am way more excited about the 1911 tbh hoping it's bullseye capable for centerfire matches.

This gun has two slides the other is a 6" that is currently a 38 super with a red dot set up but I ordered a 38 special barrel to replace it was thinking I'd prefer both to be the same but I have to send the slide back to Caspian to open up the breech not a big deal though.
