On day two of my Starlink internet being down. I have loved the service, especially living out here in the country. But their tech support/customer service sucks! My wife works from home over half the time for her job and needs good internet. I had to drive to her to her office yesterday (an hour drive one way) so she could check out one of those mobile hotspot things so she could continue working from home. Her hotspot thing off her phone is too slow for the speeds she needs for her computer work. All I get from Starlink is AI chatbot response. I have literally begged them for a live person to talk to. They never respond back like they promise they would. It's kind of funny how I can even read back the transcripts of my phone call with a robot. Even my response of calling them a bunch of fornicators (using a different F word) is there! lol
Thanks for this post. I was thinking of changing to them but now will pause for a while. Don't need another thing to set me off. Remember years ago when things were so much easier.

Don't get me wrong, but when it works, it has been great. And I don't have any better options. I have thought of cancelling it and stopping further payments, and not returning any equipment (if they want it back), then have my wife sign up for it as a new subscriber with new equipment and install. The antenna/dish needs to be on my roof. But I'm to crippled up to climb a ladder. My son could do it before he moves. All he has to do is replace the old antenna/dish with the new one. I could care less about what might happen to my credit score. I'm not in the market for any new cars or any loan. Everything I have is paid for already. I'm sure I've already been added to some kind of list of people to stay away from! lol

Had to cut my Home Depot trip short and get out of the store. In 2006 I suffered a TBI due to an underwater explosion. Sometimes certain fluorescent lighting will trigger a severe migraine and severe eye pain. I've been going to this particular Home Depot for over 4 years now, and it never triggered this before. I hope this is just a one time fluke incidence, as I frequent this store all the time. In other places this has happened at, I just never would go back in. The next closest Home Depot is 50 miles from me. As this hasn't even happened to me in the last couple of years, I was sort of hoping that maybe the condition had finally went away. I guess not. I'll try again in a couple of days and see if it happens again. Anyone else ever have this problem with certain lights?
