What are you doing right now??

Hi,

I hope everyone's weekend is going great. After church today the Mrs. and I enjoyed leftover pizza for lunch. The pizza was left over from our "Pizza on the Farm" adventure yesterday. It was a very cool thing. Most, if not all, of the pizza ingredients are souced from the farm itself.

That's just half the menu. We ordered a Canivore and The Forager so that we'd have leftovers to take home. It was an excellent day for a pizza picnic.

There are a few picnic benches but most folks bring tables and chairs to sit in the shade. The guy bringing the entertainment was pretty good.

He sang pop and country. I tipped him and asked if he had a Haggard song in him. He didn't have anything prepared but he did do a Waylon song that was music to my ears. When I got back to our picnic site the pizza was there.

When your pizza was ready you'd get a text to watch for the young folks walking through the picnic area yelling your name and delivering pizza. This was some of the best pizza I've ever tried. Then we took a walk around.

I can't wait to bring the grandkids here. They can run and climb on the hay bales or play with the farm implement basketball hoops. These kids were having a blast. You can take one of the free tours of the entire farm. You can also visit one of the feeding pens and the farm store.

The kids were having a good time giving hay to the cows and petting them. We picked up a few things at the farm store, like fresh honey. And I couldn't resist....

I can never pass a face-in-the-hole without getting my picture taken. Mrs. BassCliff was not interested. We are looking forward to taking the kids and grandkids sometime soon.

It's a lazy Sunday afternoon for me. Mrs. has some laundry to do. I'll probably get my kit together for my training class tomorrow evening. Enjoy what's left of your weekend. Monday's coming fast! ;) Blessings to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
that was amazing
we need this here

Doesn't look like I'll be shooting in Cuero, Tx next week. We usually don't get this much rain in June.

Wife and I were talking and she brought up all the crazy huskies we have had during our marriage. Some were more "wilder" than others but were all great girls! We laughed and laughed at all the things they did! We have been so lucky and now with Maggie we have been blessed, at least I have. Those dogs have made my life better.
