What are you doing right now??

Yeah, in this day and age everything takes time-- a long time.
What ticks me off if the loss of 3 weeks because of the referred doc. I need this to be done before the middle of August which is just before school starts again. 500 mile 1 way trip to help daughter get moved in, but will have to stay in a motel for 5 before due to marching band starts before she can move in. No matter how hard things were when I wasn't in pain it was still easy to do it all.

well got back from the range, had a semi-good day

a nitwit at the range put up the target holders to the carrier near the top of the carrier, making it much more easier to actually shoot the carrier....dumbasses.

so after the first target, where i was discombobulated, the RSO change the target holder to a lower one.

i did not take pics yet, when i got home i was exhausted, as i stopped at 2 walmarts to buy more targets...i store only had 3 packages, the other store had none.

all that walking, and dealing with snot nosed kids on summer vacation now.......

i hate that..which is why I LOVE going shopping at 6 AM...the little snot nosed Bastoidavitches are still sleeping....

but both stores are on my way home, my bad for thinking it was a good idea....

i ain't even gonna clean the gun, the HK Vp 9, and wouldn't you know it...my buddy wasn't even at the range today...

so screw him too.......it'll now be about 4 months before that gun goes to the range again.......

i'll post pics maybe tomorrow of both the good and bad targets.

i just had a Devil Dog, and some water....

now a god damned nap....i'm flucking tired

i deserve this god damned nap..........i had a hard day.

Sucka be a tack driver at 50 yards. frt works fine too. heated the barrel up and it started shooting a little high. put the barrel chiller on and run it a spell and back to zero

Well, looks like I've got the time now! What I thought was some kind of insect bite on my left shoulder blade and spread

has turned out to probably be shingles. The wife has had it before, so she knows what it looks like and swears that is what I have. I'm not interested in the saw bones looking at it, and I don't want any dang shot for it. I'll tough it out, it's not really painful, just annoying.

I had it on the side of my head a scalp. really wasn't painful much. it did give me headaches. bad part is it took a long time for it to go away.

Just be careful. It could get mighty sore.

I tell ya, you have waaay too much fun. I like the color scheme on that rifle, it's so you. ;) Nice work on the targets.

Oh my! I got the shots for shingles. I've had a couple of friends go through that. While it's not lethal it can very inconvenient and very painful. I hope your case is a mild one.

It's been a slow day for me. I got my truck back from the shop, $600 later. Tomorrow the missus and I will continue our day trip adventures by finding a Friday fish fry in some new town we've never been to. Maybe Sheboygan? That's fun to say. :D

Thank you for your indulgence,

Went to the county judge for a ticket I received on Tuesday. $176 for it (failure to stop). The idiot leo wasn't even where he could see as he was on the other side of a hill and coupled with traffic and a tree in the way. The sign was 50' away from the road where I stopped before moving forward to check for traffic before I turned right. He was going to give me a citation no matter. Truth gets ne nowhere. They won't show me dashcam footage . Sounds like he's hiding something. They won't even show me bodycam footage or a non-redacted report from when the neighbor hit me with a vehicle when i was just standing in my driveway. I wonder how much the neighbors "donate" to local law enforcement.

i have known many people that have had shingles, both on the outside on the skin, and internally......

they hurt and burn like hell.......those people had to be put on meds, Gabapentin (Neurontin), and could not miss a dose.

good luck with your bravery,

It doesn't really hurt, it's more itchy than anything. And I already take handfuls of gabapentin for nerve pain in my feet and shins. Maybe that's keeping any pain in check.
