What are you doing right now??

Hey gang,

Thought I'd check in. Seems to be pretty hot all around the country except in the upper Plains states. It's pretty warm and humid here, next to the Great Lakes. I just finished a two hour rehearsal with my duo partner. Our month off will end July 1 and we'll play ten dates next month. That's kind of a lot for a retired bass player. At least I'll have some mad money for ammo and stuff. I've been thinking about my next firearm purchase but have not made a decision. Maybe I should buy a bigger safe first. Be blessed.

Every New Year's and 4th of July, neighbors set off lots of fireworks. I don't mind so much, as long as they do it at midnight on Jan. 1st and get it over with, and stop shooting them off at a reasonable time on the 4th of July. But they usually party all night, and you can't get any sleep. Plus one of my dogs is terrified of fireworks and thunder. If this year things keep going on until 3 am, like in the past, I'll wait until about just before sun rise and fire off a few magazines from my SA Saint Victor .308 pistol. That thing is ungodly loud. It should waken them from their drunken stupor! And no, I won't be shooting it up into the sky. I have a good earthen backstop to aim at.
 
Just finished a small bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, lemon, one of my favorites! They make the best carrot cake in Tucson, why I keep going back. Cake is so good you don't need icing on, just melts in your mouth. If you're close to a store, ya gotta try them!

That's happened here, a couple of times. Just senseless and stupid behaviors. As for locking them up, they've been through the same door so many times they could book themselves.

Irritates me too, especially for the rescue dog we have is so terrified we have to drug him up so he won't have a heart attack...

i'm ticked off at the doc i was referred to for the ablation procedure. 2 weeks+ and no contact with him or his office people 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 🤬 ! talked the referring doc and they said they couldn't get in touch with them either (emails, fone/text). monday they were able to finally talk with his office peeps and was told they tried contacting me...............BS, i didn't receive any calls from the 817 area code at all including spam/robo calls. i left numerous messages on their fone and still wasn't called back.mother F'n azzholes!..................i left a text tonight for them to get me another doc to do the procedure as is what they would've done if the referred place didn't answer them by the end of day monday (15th). i've had enough with that POS useless SOB! i wanted to finally get my neck pain way down to below a 5 in pain level or less by the end of july, but unsure if that'll happen now due to more delays:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬!!!!!!!i'm required to do a consultation before the procedure with it utterly BS in this case! at best case i'll have the consult and the procedure in the same week. i'm trying not to be PO'd, but it's difficult not too be!!!!!! the referring doc and his office people have done a great job doing what i ask of them and they reply quickly to my text and call me shortly after if i ask them to call me as texting is a PITA for what i want to say. i thank all the staff and the doc at the referring doc's office being so willing to help me speed through this process to a less painful life (hopefully no pain, but i'll be glad for a 50% reduction). Texas Back Institute has done more for me in the last 3 weeks than any other neurologist/neurosurgeon in the last 20+ years! there has been maybe 3 that tried their best, but i can't say much for the rest.............

Just got my back ablation, lower back. Work comp has been stalling for 3 years now. Had several done before the new adjusters took over. Their excuse was that they were unsure of the long term effects…I am 81! But back feels better now…
