Late start on heading back home for a 340 mile drive. Hoping to get home before dark. Not sure if i should leave since @SimonRL and @KillerFord1977 might not behave while I'm gone. Supposedly there's going to be a fifa game in DFW on Tuesday? Definitely glad I'm leaving!

started watching...The Expendables, part 3
then i had to come here and respond to an email, from the family member that moved away back in April, that the wife and i took it hard, really hard.
now wife wants to know what i want for dinner.
i dunno, maybe hotdogs......just no beans..already been farting up a storm, thanks to the biscuit and gravy breakfast this morning....(can't have milk, which is IN the gravy)

Thinkin' about which rifle I'll take with me on my first deer hunt since I moved to Idaho. My last hunt was decades ago in Montana. Bagged him with a Marlin 30-30 lever action and open sights. Since I now have a Belgium Browning .243 lever action, I'll probably go with that, in case I need to reach out more. Still going with open sights though. Crazy lack of rules for the caliber here. There aren't any! .22s are legal. Dumb, but legal.

Watching Goodfellas, after I got my Sunday evening rituals done for tomorrow.
Spent the day over at my Mom's. Cooked two of the prettiest Bottom Round roasts I've ever seen in the Crock pot, the mix included diced white onion, chopped celery, chopped baby carrots, pureed minced garlic, and 5 small pealed and diced Russett potatoes.
Broth was a mix of Campbell's beef broth, and McCormick pot roast seasoning.
And did a few things that needed done around her house.
