Helped move my daughter and her boyfriend into their new apartment. It is a pretty nice place. I'm pretty sure my daughter's boyfriend is going to be "the one". He is a nice guy and I really like him. He is in his last year of school as a music major. He wants to be a music teacher for high school kids. While he was attending courses in college for his music major, he and some of his music major friends formed a group, and play gigs around South Texas. If any of you listen to country music or have watched Yellowstone, then you may have seen or heard of Lainey Wilson. She went to a club in San Antonio not long ago, where this group had a gig. She was very impressed with how good they are. She wanted to possibly have them play as an opening act in her future concerts. I told my daughter's boyfriend that it is imperative that I meet Lainey Wilson in person. For the good of their relationship. And to make a possibly future father-in-law happy. This is Lainey Wilson. You can certainly see how important it is for me to meet her!

If your daughter is a female and her boyfriend is a male, than why a picture of a female unless your daughter's boyfriend is a transmale❓

The picture is of Lainey Wilson, the country music star who is interested in my daughter's boyfriend's musical group. I don't know how else to explain who she is, just google her.

I'm going to a baseball game with my buddy this evening. Today we just hung around doing guy stuff while the wives went and did girl stuff. Last night, Greg showed me his armory. Here's part of it...

He's got a lot of long guns, 590, a Stoeger, AR-10 (.308), 30-30, 30-06, Henry .22wmr, and others. Don't know what long guns we're gonna shoot tomorrow but we are definitely shooting his .44mag Anaconda.

We went to three LGSs and I looked at some 10mm offerings. One store had the XDM Elite, Colt 1911, Girsan 2011, S&W FPC, a Keltek Carbine, a Marlin lever, and even a Hi-Point 10mm carbine. It was very tempting. They also had a couple of unique firearms on display, like this...

One of the owners is a long distance bullseye competitor (4000+ yards) and was reloading .416 Barret for competitions.

Then it was lunch time. This sandwich shop was killer.

Afterwards we stopped by a music store to look at some basses. It was a nice little mom'n'pop shop with a friendly owner, Shannon, who was very hospitable. Later is the baseball game and tomorrow will be range time. Stay tuned for more adventures. ;)

Meet Franky, now Franky is short for..well ya'll know. any it has parts from a lot of manufactures. even the BCG is a full auto bolt carrier group from the early 80's. never been in a gun. it was a backup for the M-16A1. full auto bolts are now a big thing cause of FRT's. but back then they were useless unless you had a full auto.

So i just built Franky this morning and i been experimenting with these FRT's and how to speed them up. i drilled out the hole in the barrel just a little, not much. i knew it would speed it up and holy crap did it ever. Franky is almost mac10 fast. and that's with old tul steel case ammo. i did sight it in with brass case stuff. once the black hole was achieved i quit. i'm not the greatest with iron sights anymore, or plastic should i say.
