What are you doing right now??

FYI -- there is a new invention available now -- they are called SCREENS.
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Oh, we have those new inventions. We also have a few stupid old windows left that have drain holes directly to the outside. That's the only place I can think of that they're getting in through. Seems I only get these nightly attacks when I leave the upstairs windows open...trying to save on electricity rather than run the AC all night. Give and take, I guess...

Looking at a Smith M&P Shield Plus Carry Comp. They do have a couple locally and are about $50 more than internet sites. There is also a $50 rebate for retired military. I have a Shield Plus right now and it has been a great firearm. This new one is a bit bigger with a comp.

So...I came out of a deep sleep around 3AM (my normal get up time, but NOT on my Friday off). It was not my alarm, but intense itching on my hand and tingling in my upper lip that pulled me out. Got up to close windows in case of rain, went into the bathroom and damn near died. My upper lip was swollen to easily twice its size! Now, I might give a :poop: how I look most days but I am not one of those vain women who need collagen lips and plastic boobs. I looked like a plastic surgeon's worst mistake.

Not much I could do at 3AM except go back to bed and hope the swelling goes down by morning. I slept late, obviously needed it. The hand has a mosquito bite, its swelling is all but gone. The lip, on the other hand, is taking its sweet time. Now I quit giving a crap what people think of me quite a while ago, but I still don't want to parade around with a disfigured lip. If the swelling gets down to a less obnoxious level by this afternoon, I will go to the range. I may have to wait until tomorrow morning (suck it up and get up super early). Actually, I think it's pretty funny. I've killed so many mosquitos that they are covertly getting their revenge :ROFLMAO:. Got lots I can do here instead. Got three days off so there's that. 😎
Spiders are bad sleep-time bugs and several types make itchy and swollen areas where they bite/sting they are bad sleep-time things and don't ask me about the bugs that don't just live in a bed...

Calamine lotion was always a helper with bug bites/stings... and beer-flu masks could cover up your movie lip...
