Was surprised that no one posted any emmylou on that thread. I mean, what a voice. I saw her a number of years ago. Dwight Yoakam opened the show before she and her hot band came out. How could you not like this?

oh here is a good one, and i think either @Belt Fed or @NMEDGE just recently went thru this.

i ordered up fiber optic rods from MidwayUSA last friday.

they were "supposed" to be here yesterday (tuesday) as of 4:00 AM yesterday, they were in the main postal DC center in downtown Providence, only about a mile or 2 from my house...so delivery to me should have taken place, its only about a mile to my local postal office

but....NNNNnnnnnooooooooooooooooooo

no delivery yesterday.

i just looked at the tracking, and my rods are in Mashpee, MA...which is on CAPE COD.....60 miles away.....!!!!!!!!!


like WTF....????

i'll tell you what.........

they had a "due to arrive date" for the 9th according to MidwaysUSA estimated delivery date, which is Tuesday of NEXT WEEK.....

i'll bet dollars to donuts, those SOB's at the post office will keep my item in "Postal Limbo World", until next week...

Don’t get me started. Waiting around for 4 days when package is in the same town I live in.

The part I ordered from Springfield had 2 missed delivery dates last week from FedEx. Not even notified dates had been changed. Part finally showed up last night.

The last thing I ordered, medicine for Maggie was delivered to El Paso Tx for delivery next day. Item was then sent to Boston and sat there for 3 weeks! When I called company saying I wanted my money back they couldn't understand why. Well, i can make sailors blush and after I explained the situation they refunded my money. When I went to postmaster here to complain he told me I need to go to El Paso. Totally useless!

DeJoy, the now former postmaster general, mucked up the postal service...as a result, i think ALL local postmasters could care less..they still get thier pay and benefits. and i'll bet dollars to donuts, any packages they are expecting, is hand delivered to thier desk each time.

saw my shoulder surgeon this morning
he hurt me, by moving my shoulder in ways i was told NOT TO, and said its time to start therapy
then off to enjoy a great lunch with MRS BOATR
then lowes to buy stuff for the boat pick up trip
and bifen at the feed store to kill anything that crawls, flies or slithers in the yard

Waiting for wife to get home from work. Now that neighbors moved it's really quiet here during the day. Even Maggies buddy moved too. Pretty boring here after chores are done. I can see it will be a long winter.
