What are you doing right now??

It was 37 degrees this morning when I got up. Looks like fall is edging in here. It's supposed to warm up a bit next week, but the season's changing, along with the leaves on the trees.

Today is laundry day, and with the husband working out of town again, he needs two weeks worth in his suitcase. I also need to pick more tomatoes . Next Saturday is canning day, and what doesn't ripen on the vine between now and then will be picked and made into green tomato relish.

Right now it's time to rustle up some brunch... 😎
 
Taping off the very first furniture type item we ever bought new as a couple way back 45 years and change ago. Until this we got everything for thst mobile hone used, including the old black snd white tv.

We bought this white glass topped tray table for rhe deck cement slab I just poured. Its getting a bit rusty and I would take out the glass but the plastic clips are I am sure terrible brittle after 45 years of temperature changes.

And Belt, if i lived close I would be glad to help, but I do believe we live a fur piece away. But my fat butt could use the exercise my wife would say lol.

Be careful buddy do not over do we ain't spring chickens any more.

todays shopping adventure, is brought by Mutual of Oklahoma Life Insurance. (cuz we be better than Omaha)

jesus h. crow.......

anything that could have ticked me off. waited till i got to walmart

went to get the newspaper first, then the dash to Market Basket for groceries, then the mad dash to wally's world emporium..

they are "remodeling" so the tiles are off the floor, and they polished/burnished the concrete which will be "the new flooring"...

so now, try going to the isles where your crap used to be for dozens of years......so much so, Stevie Wonder can find things.

well, took me 12 minutes to find 4 items (it was like 7:45 when i got there, from Market Basket)

made the dash to the self check out......nope, 247 people with carts piled 6 miles high...ain't gonna get a register...

made the dash to one of the TWO registers opened, out of 20..!!

nope, 3,896 people in line, many of those ice holes are "food truck owners" stocking up......

so i really, really needed those items in my cart, as the wife called me and said, she did not want to go out...down pours going on......

only about 37 minutes waiting to get cashed out

in the past...??

i left my cart in line, and walked out, more than once, i have done that....they don't care to open up more registers..?? i don't care myself what i do, to muck things up.

but the wife needed those items.

a lesson in self restraint...at wally worlds emporium.......

Is there anything in life that gives you at least a tiny bit of joy? lol I hate Walmart myself. I avoid the weekends and try for off times during the week.

Just finished painting but accidently leaned arm into a painted surface underneath when I spun it. Told my wife my arm hair looked like her hair, white.

The name she called me would get me banned here for life...

kinda an emergency stop at wally world.....usually i do go there on the weekdays, with the mrs....

MMmmmmmm...........uhhhhhh...............unless it is my, Turkey Hill Dutch Cocoa Chocolate ice cream.............then........nope.
