What are you doing right now??

just had breakfast, and on my 3rd cup of coffee..wife is still sleeping.

then, i have to leave at like 8:30 to get to the tire store..........gain.........to have them locate the problem with my tire...........again.

tire was low again saturday morning, but i was too busy around the house to go and get it done yesterday.

hopefully today, someone will find the issue..

it is a slow leaking issue, since it took a couple of days to go near flat.......again.

if all else fails, i guess i'll be buying another new tire.
Jack car up, take tire off, mix soapy water in spray bottle, spray on tread, spray around valve stem, spray in valve stem or spit in valve stem, spray around rim where tire seals. spray on sides. look at tire every spray. watch for bubbles

Made what I hope is my ONLY trip past the end of my driveway, got drinks, chips, and few other needs for the upcoming week.
Highway traffic going West bound past my hole in the woods is down to one lane due to construction, so if I leave, I have to deal with it to get back to house.
So, for now I'm relaxing a little before I do a few chores.

I know they cost more but I now only purchase Michelins---never a issue with them.

i would have bought the Michelins as well, but they are too costly. its not the tires, its the junk on the roads.
Jack car up, take tire off, mix soapy water in spray bottle, spray on tread, spray around valve stem, spray in valve stem or spit in valve stem, spray around rim where tire seals. spray on sides. look at tire every spray. watch for bubbles
i cannot do this.

given my 4 back operations, and the arthritis in my knees, its impossible....its even hard to bend down just to air them up.

and i cannot call my sons over, they are each painting rooms in thier houses....and my sons-in-law are doing home remodeling projects as well.

as a former wrencher, i know how its done, but age, operations, arthritis, have done me in.

Needing corrective lenses has been a part of my life for around 70 years. Can't see :poop: without them. Just about 10 minutes ago the screw on the right jumped out and the lens became a UFO -- stumbled to the kitchen and got my lighted magnifier (thanks Harbor Freight) and managed to secure it -- that's all for now.

Been on a decluttering mission, didn't realize how many shipping boxes I'd accumulated this year, so I've been emptying packing material, and collapsing cardboard boxes.
Also got to doing some corrosion control on my trucks exposed fasteners with some liquid rust eliminator.
And I put a spud in the oven, once it's soft to the touch, I'll wrap two sirloins I've been marinating since Friday.
Ought to be good eating tonight....

Just dropped off a paint lid for a sample to get a gallon of paint at Sherwin-Williams Williams. Paint has sure gotten expensive.
and here we have to pay a "collection fee" for any size of liquid paint (not spray paints)

needless to say, no way around this, as you pay that "fee" at the time you buy the paints...

i'll let them explain it....

The PaintCare fee amounts are based on container size:
  • Half pint or smaller: $0.00
  • Larger than half pint up to smaller than 1 gallon: $0.35
  • 1-2 gallons: $0.75
  • Larger than 2 gallons up to 5 gallons: $1.60

This fee helps fund the collection, transportation, and processing of leftover paint, as well as public education about proper paint management. The fee is not a deposit and is not refunded when dropping off used paint.

Additionally, the purchase is subject to the standard Rhode Island sales tax, which is applied to the total sale price, including the PaintCare fee.

Hi,

After church I took Mrs. BassCliff out for lunch. Now my laundry is done, caught up with my Bible study, and I'm joining her downstairs for a fictional narrative on the reception screen. There's three hours left on my auction, no higher bids yet. With a little luck I'll get a good deal. Good evening to all.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

Drink four cans of redbull and a couple of energy shots at 11 pm to stay awake very late, drive to person most hated, dump cans of paint on lawn, drive off, problem solved, drive by recycler that wants money for the paint and give him number one sign, drive home and feel satisfied.
