Took the P6 Xfive Legions and P6 Xfives out for a good workout yesterday. Mostly Xfive to compare to the Xfive Legion. My wife really loves her Xfive Classic now, tho she does want to put the Sig thumb rest/extended TDL (gas pedal) on her Classic. My STAS has one standard on it and I like it alot for rapid fire exercises. We went thru 400 rounds without a single glitch.
Thru it all, I discovered that the slides are interchangable. My Xfive Legion slide on my Xfive STAS effectively creates a P6 Reserve sans DLC finish and GridLok grips. I now have 4 guns to shoot. Damn, I'm a genius lol. Fine examples from Sig for sure!

I did both of mine a week ago in the driveway. Honestly, when I climb underneath the vehicles I start to feel old. I just hate paying close to $100 for a oil change.
well....lol....

i just got back, and it was $85.00

i go to the dealership, to at least have proof it is being maintained, in the event of a warranty issue.

i "can go" 10,000 miles on the oil, and for the first 2 years, toyota does the oil change and tire rotations for free, up until 20,000 miles, whichever comes first.

however, i do a lot of short trips, and as such at the 5,000 point, the oil was a wee bit darker than i'd like it to be.

these garages nowadays, hit us with "fee's" of all sorts, like recycling, shop materials, and coffee truck time......

back in my day, if i ever charged any "fee's on top of the $10 oil and filter change...??

i'd be call a rip-off joint......

today, most people do not even blink.

if i get on the ground...??

i ain't getting up.........until the fire dept gets here to help me up......

and until then.....

it's nap time...!!!!!!!

A year or so ago, I had no choice but to go to the dealership for service. I was just to crippled up recovering from surgeries. I have a diesel pickup truck. I had an oil change/filter, and (2) fuel filters changed. It came out to some $700! Never again! The next time I needed all that done, I talked my son through the whole process as I watched him do it. I'm hoping at some point I am recovered enough to doing the servicing myself. But I'll probably need my son to do it this next time again. Not recovered enough to do it yet.

Local mechanic here charges $45.99 for full synthetic for 7qts or under.
Great deal, cause you are correct, its usually $100+ around here
gotta be careful on some of those "synthetic" brands..

Toyota's synthetic is made by Mobil, which when i had managed a Mobil service station, it was introduced....like over 40 years ago, before i left that job, and got into trucking.

back then, it was 1 year or 20,000 miles you would change it.

BUT...once you changed from dino oil to synthetic, you could not go back...

and if your engine was a leaker..??

best to not ever go synthetic back then

that was way back then, it may not be true anymore.
