Watching the SF game. I can't believe the football season is almost done. I still enjoy watching the NFL. I don't agree with them but the games are interesting. Had a quiet Saturday. Maggie all done for the day and is resting now. I love that dog and she is my best friend. She keeps me moving. Hope everyone has a great evening.

i have the Verizon FiOS system for our landline, and tv and internet.....i cannot recall the exact date we had it installed, but after all these years, the back-up battery finally crapped out. so i went online and ordered up a replacement, cheaper that if i were to order from Home Depot.
it weighs about 5 lbs......and fits into a case mounted on the basement wall.
never mind the date in the pics, this confounded camera is losing its memory, even with a fully charged battery.
the battery is to back up the landline, in the event of a power outage.

I actually got to watch the Saints play a bit today. They didn't quite pull it off against the ATL dirty birds. The NFC South was really weak this season, all had losing records. Now I'm watching Bears and Lions after flipping few a few games. I don't know who to root for through the playoffs.
Yesterday we went to putt-putt golf for granddaughter's birthday. Fun stuff! Then I treated all to frozen custard sundaes. This morning I shaved off my beard before church. Nobody noticed.

Got home from up north a few hours ago. Came through freezing rain/sleet at Bemidji, but only a swath of about 5 miles I would say. Supper's finished and the husband is actually snoring quite loudly, so he needs to be extricated from the couch and sent to bed. It's still early but...0315 is not my friend
