Got a urologist appt, at noon today. hopefully they can see a stone and set me up a time to get rid of it. not hurting now.

There are three common test to see a kidney stone: Ultra Scan, MRI and Cat Scan.

i usually get a ultra sound...but last year, doc sent me for a CAT scan...that hurt too....$150.00 co-pay.....compared to the $25.00 for the ultra sound.

but better than the $5,000 with out insurance for that CAT scan...!!!!!!!

Got back from the vets office. Maggies eyes have improved greatly. The only thing, she will have to have the meds for it once a day. I'm so glad her eyes are going to be ok. She brings me so much enjoyment, truly a best friend.

Yes the Ultra scan is the basic scan to see if you have stones or other issues and the more costly CAT/MRI are for the urologist to see much clearer all the stones.

That’s $5000.00 is a lot, but just think if your insurance didn’t cover 17 treatments of Keytruda at…..wait for it……….$148,000.00 per treatment…..

the hospital would get a monthly payment of about $50.

that's what my late dad would say (and he did too) when they sent him a bill back in the day.
