Correction, can see target at about 25 yards or so with magnified glasses. Did not have my glasses on when I wrote above. Kinda ironic, LOL

Not too bad, my experience is the same, SRO 5moa and reading glasses for irons.

Just got through mounting the OD green scope, seems a dern Chinaman don't have a clue What FDE is supposed to look like. this is the third chinese stuff i 've seen in FDE that is green. now if this wasn't just a range toy i'd take it off. i would have put a better scope on to begin with. but it's just going to kill paper most likely. i have two pinty dots on pistols and so far they have been good. now this scope looks decent made and has a very clear picture, even at 9 power but they don't know what FDE is for sure.

Between woodworking projects I went to do some wiring and as usual had to go on a treasure hunt looking for tools and connectors, etc. My old electrical toolbox was overflowing with misc. I had enough so I built a 3 drawer cabinet with fitted foam for some tools and the stuff I need most often. Also fitted my wood chisels in a drawer under my workbench. Cleaning the shop tomorrow but I will probably see a squirrel before that's done

My wife loves estate & garage sales. What she sees as a real find is often just junk to me and it's all over the garage. We both usually end up compromising and she keeps her stuff. Breakfast and coffee. Up earlier than normal, slept on recliner most of night because of a backache. Husky was pissed because at night she sleeps in recliner. Now she's up and wants attention.

Mag spring came in yesterday so today is the day I install it. Gonna investigate the .45 Lightning feeding issues after. The wife made a startingly new admission, she wants a lever rifle of her own after 20 years shooting pump rifles. Whew! I can install a short stroke kit and/or slick up a lever gun, while the complicated pump rifles need the occasional professional help.
