I feel you…I’m lucky (maybe?) whee I’ve gotten the seniority in my job that I can cherry-pick my OT (meaning: I don’t take it unless I want it, mostly), and I don’t have to do any crappy jobs when we hit our heavy maintenance cycle (I either was keeping people safe inside confined spaces, or “idiot wrangling”—telling other people what needs to be done, and—far too often—how to do it).
I don’t put my body on the line any more. The company don’t reward it, they don’t care—they aren’t worth it.
Guess it’s my way of “quiet quitting”; just gotta stretch it out another 7 years, give or take.
