The roads here have become impassable. We have no snow removal equipment. We have vehicles that could go in an emergency but there is no reason to venture out. 24° now. Last time it snowed like this here was 1954.

No snow but high was 32 degrees. Will go down into single digits tonight, at least that is what they are saying. All errands done for today and little richer. Turned on heater in garage just for good measure.

Drinking coffee and contemplating the commute. When I drove home yesterday there was a 30mph wind from the south (the 40mph gusts were trying to me off the interstates). This brought in warmer air and snow. The wind and snow has died down at this hour, but at 20 degrees, the road surfaces should be rather interesting. I am glad I drive in before the hoards of commuters who do it between 7 and 9AM. Here's to hump day! To all of you still in the freezer, stay warm and safe.

Coffee in. 17° here. Roads and schools still closed. Need sun. Powergrid went down a bit ago, we are on generator. Too cold for glue ups and finish work in the shop. I need to venture in the snow to feed horses in an hour. Looks like another day of old movies and Youtubes. Dogs have my recliner bracketed, refill coffee and we are set.

25 now, going up to 62 degrees. Almost done with second cup of coffee. Need to make a run to Costco, maybe today. If so, we can make a detour to a nice gun store and to Sportsman's Warehouse. If not, I need to reload shotshells and clean guns.

truck is STILL at ford getting re-wired...it started with 7 harnesses and now has evolved to almost all of the under hood harnesses because rodent took a nibble out of chaff strips and or pvc covers and clips
funny part was last night my ford pass app that tells you where the cars are etc... and locked or unlocked all the neat stuff
at 10 pm ish i got an alert the truck was ON....yes ON and running
i was thinking well if it sets the service area on fire..i guess i get a new truck
called this morning and truck was not ON as its harnesses are unplugged and batteries disconnected
i may add, yesterday the dealer called me and asked if they could swap out the loaner expedition becasue they had a buyer, they asked how far i was from them and i told them right at 1.5 hrs
the guy said ok, will you be home for a while
i said yes...well to my surprise a get a call from front gate about 2hrs later...dude was there to deliver a new loner car 24 expedition max and pick up the one i had been using.
