What are you doing right now??

staying in da house, dang cold (again) at 10 degree's...

but gotta go later for an ultrasound on my legs..

since december, i have had a bad pain in my left knee, and swelling from the knee down to my foot...

the previous x-rays a couple of weeks ago show "mild arthritis", but my doctor also said he "suspects" a Baker's cyst, that was behind that knee, and burst, but it can also be the gout...however....as for gout...i have no redness, and no burning or hot to the touch knee......so he sorta "shied" away from the gout thought for now

i had a test on my legs a few years ago, if i recall back then, there was some "slow flow" of blood there.

i know from previous testing too, that i have some "clogging" going on.....

oh well...the price for old age, and all the greasy foods i ate..???

it sucks to go to appointments, like doctors, labs, cuz i gotta wear my going to church on sunday jeans.....

also, i gotta leave my carry at home......

it'll be a couple of days before they send me the results, i usually get results before the doctor does, thru the patient portals. giving me time to get worried about the results, before i talk to the doctor
 
just got back from the ultrasound

tech asked me a few questions, one being, "have you ever had any blood clots"?

then, "are you on any blood thinners"

well, no to the blood clots, and a daily aspirin, which as from what i read, does thin the blood a bit.

so, there i was laying on the table, and my heart starts racing.....thinking about a blood clot...

a "sigh of relief" when she said no clots show.........

so now i have to wait for the results to come to me first, then to my doctor, and go from there.

and for health reasons, i have to have a large piece of my birthday cake, with my hot chocolate for lunch...

my wife just rolled her eyes....

i don't believe as we age, we stay calm about some things....

drive-by shootings...??? meh, not a problem

doctor or lab appointment...blood pressure raises, headaches come on, loss of appetite
 
Watching the last of this white stuff melt away. I am about 20 mile south of Houston. Luckily most folks stayed home for a few days so minimized the craziness on the roads.

GOT MY TRUCK back this morning.... (y) (y)
7 days, x 1.5 techs x 88hr labor rate plus and a schoosh under 2k for parts (harnesses and 2 vacuum tube assemblies)
total bill 0.00
i dont even want to know what they filed against the dealers insurance on rodents

truck runs smooth, and quiet
jammed with dire straits all the way home
now if it does not rain tomorrow, its tool box install time, and all that stuff
