We just had a tornado go overhead about an hour ago. It's headed your way. Apparently the river I live on is fixing to have a train ran on it by God. For like 4 straight days. That's not good at all.

Oh I could have gotten the guy a whole new driveway, but I'd be looking for a new job. I do have a contingency plan in the event I am fired though. I suspect the shock of it will put me into a "stroke event" while I'm in an excavator. Lord only knows what might happen.

We have gotten nearly 6 inches of wet, nasty (well, it’s purdy now but…) snirt maker. We could see another 6 overnight. Nothing I love more than an adventurous commute (except for guns

Husband is going outside to give the trees a shake. We have small junipers we planted as a wind break last year, and this heavy, wet snow will snap them.

Update on his 300h event. From the video of it he was off to a great start until the 3rd or 4th hurdle? Looks like he caught his trailing foot on the hurdle and tripped/fell in doing so. Got up quickly and gained ground on the 1's in front, but leg started hurting (according to him) and couldn't finish strong enough to place 3rd to go to the next meet (bi-district). We'll see how he (and his brother) does tomorrow?

Well…that was fun. Average speed on the interstate was 47mpg. Only one casualty, one west bound semi jack knifed and ended up in the median. They are going to have close the highway to pull it out. We got another 6 plus inches and it’s still snowing. I left 20 minutes earlier than usual and I used every single extra minute. Now I get to go to work…yay
