My gun cart folded like a pretzel yesterday at the match. Two plastic parts broke so I'm replacing them with a wooden brace making it non-folding. My miscellaneous buckets of hardware found 3 bolts, so I need to run to the hardware store. At least it waited until the last stage to implode.

From phone ringing all morning from school deciding on when school will start, they finally called it off. No power at school which doesn't make sense as they have generators and fiber optic internet.
Yesterday was 95° and today is supposed to be 65°. No need for an amusement park when you have Texas rollercoaster weather.

just painted several door thresholds, which is tough at my age, cuz once i get onto the floor, i have to say to my wife...
"I can't get up, help me"....
now, took my daily metamucil, and getting ready to vacuum all 47,000 smoke detectors in the house, and basement....
2 times a years........
then after that, if i'm still living and breathing..??
gotta vacuum under the all the fridges........
looks like i'll be calling the wife again..."i can't get up"......"halp me....halp me".............(no typo gatekeeper upper needed......misspelling done on porpoise.

well, just had lunch..a banana and jelly sammich.
i got all the smoke detectors vacuumed. i had to reset 1, a red light was flashing 3 times..usually it flashes once. (Lets you know its working)
must have been like that for a while..
any way, i'll save the vacuuming of all the refrigerators for another day, i am beat.
but what a PITA is was to get a quart of that paint for the thresholds..
the original store, guy tells me his 'puter is down.
so i go to Lowes.....after waiting like for 7 minutes, a dude comes to help me....
he tried, really he did, but he could not do much...cuz...his 'puter was down
so, i went to a REAL paint store, a Pittsburgh Paint dealer.
wham, bam, thank you man, i got my paint...i picked up paint swatches for a future bathroom re-paint, coming soon.
its actually really right now.........early afternoon nap time..!!!!!!!

We caught a big one in a creek using a 2 inch stick. Pulled him out when he grabbed it. He tasted pretty good, but I couldn't tell you if it tasted like chicken or beef. It was more than 50 years ago.
