Got up this morning and it had snowed last night. Supposed to get into the 50s today. Our temp swings are (almost) as freaky as Texas'. Anyway, now that the ground has some moisture in it and the lawn is threatening to green up, I have to get into my garden and pull some obnoxious thistles before they decide to propagate. I have leather gauntlets for that, and I get stuck even through those...I look like I've been in a cat fight when I'm done. Thistles up here grow to the size of trees if you let them go. When we cleared this lot 10 years ago, they were as big as some of the poplars, and they are extremely tenacious. We even used Eraser, which you can't even find anymore because it's the poisonest poison out there. (I know, I know Mr. Gatekeeper
@Annihilator, that's not a word but...it fits

). Well, thistles in MN are indestructible.
Anyway, I have to start that process now before they wake up. At least the sun will be out.
