I call it my kickup truck because there's always something needing fixed on it, making me want to kick it to get it going. I bought it in Jan '21 in Indiana so I could move to my winter wonderland where every season there's lots to do and lots of places to visit. But to get everything here took 5 complete trips (one just for the guns & ammo), with a U-Haul trailer, except for the last trip which was my 30' travel trailer RV. It's my SHTF bug-out vehicle.
So here's where the wear & tear started adding up. Each leg of the trip (one way) was 1000 miles exactly from doorstep to doorstep. That's 10k, hauling close to the max axle weight. I woulda gone back for my 1st Mercury Sable but it was in need of serious work done, and the move tapped me out completely. So I gave it to the mechanic in exchange for him letting me store it there. The 2nd Mercury was my late love Julie's car, just a different color. So even though the truck needs more work, it's driveable now - which doesn't leave me stranded while waiting on the car as the transmission is being worked on!

And now that I'm done for the day and my arthritis, fibromyalgia, and neuropathy are all screaming in unison, I'm gonna sip some Knob Creek Rye & watch a movie... I'll post a few roaringly funny memes and then I'm down for the count.

It's 2:10 ante meridiem here on the Right Coast. I sort of have missed the tiny insomniac in me but today was all-over-the-place i'm surprised i found my way to my room. I will finish up in TAL and try to get a nap...
