What are you doing right now??

Hi,

Everyone is busy, busy! I hope work goes well. I hope the doctor visits go well. I have a busy day today also, sort of.

Mrs. BassCliff just left with our daughter and granddaughters for a girls road trip. They'll be gone for five days and have lots of fun. My daughter and son-in-law got me this for my Father's Day present. They get me. ;)

It holds 5 pistols and 20 mags. I've been window shopping one of these for a while now.

Now I'm going to get gussied up to go play my early afternoon gig. When I get back I will mow and edge the lawn, then move some supplies and gear into Mrs. BassCliff's new garden shed. But first, I must finish this cup of coffee. Blessings to all!

Thank you for your indulgence,

I have one, got it last year. You can configure the foam inside many ways. I have a cut out that fits four pistols and (I can’t remember how many magazines 😊), and one for three, and I just got one for two with room for my range bag gear. They’re lockable, dirt and waterproof. I’m very happy with mine.

Hi,

Re: My new Condition 1 pistol case.

Almost pulled trigger on one of them. Let us know how you like it!

My thanks to Ms. @belladonna for sharing her Condition 1 case with us. I think (?) mine is the same size (801) but has the pre-configured foam for 5 pistols and 20 magazines. I'll leave it like that for a while.

The only piece of gear I have to compare it with is a Pelican 1600 case, which I use for music gear, cables, stands, DI box, mics, and other small components. The Pelican 1600 case is twice the size of this Condition 1 case. The Pelican case is heavy just because I can put so much music gear in it. I think even when I load up the Condition 1 case with 5 pistols and 20 full magazines, it will still be quite portable when compared to my Pelican 1600 case.

The shell is pretty heavy duty, but perhaps not quite as thick as the the Pelican case. The latches and handle are very sturdy. I like the latches on the Condition 1 case better than the Pelican case.

I'm hoping to get to the range this week, so I will load it up and bring it with in order to give a full review in my next range report. ;)

You can order different configurations for each case. I can’t remember which model mine is…I think it’s 179.

Hi,

As I take a second look, perhaps yours is a little smaller than mine. The 801 is their "medium" 18" case. The 179 is the next size down, the 16" case. You've got the 2 pistol configuration with extra space for other accessories. Pretty cool. I really like my Father's Day present. ;)

Edit: I forgot. I also have a small Vault case by Pelican. But I've been using it to store ammo. I could put the foam back in the case and cut it to make it a 2-pistol case.
