The siren horns are not far from our house, but yeah, the TV stays on in weather like this.Keep a TV or something going in the background when you go to sleep so you can hear a tornado warning.

Keep Toto close! It suddenly got really dark outside. We are under another tornado watch...until 3AM they are saying. I love the thunderstorms but you can keep the wind...geez.
That’s just northwest of us. The radar shows it coming down around midnight or so but who knows. The winds switchback lots out here.Don’t know if you live near this but here are latest radar scans…..

Wow, glad it missed you, and feel bad for those who lost their homesWell, the folks up Jamestown way got slammed by a vicious storm. A big twister went through and leveled homes, threw a train off its tracks, and I think a couple people were killed. My friend in Hunter is okay, just surveying damage now. The system blew through here right around midnight. Loud thunder, lightning, high wind and sideways rain, but everything here is fine. It just rearranged the deck furniture (again...).
The mister has gone up north to our property in Itasca to check out the garage that he has a bunch of HVAC stuff stored in. The roof was replaced last week and he needs to see how much soffit he needs. He's going to bring a bunch of the HVAC stuff back for the SIL for his side business. So I am batching it today, but I have projects of my own. Weed the garden (if I can get into it without sinking to my knees) before it gets too hot. I need to reorganize the firearm stuff in the house, I have a dirty gun to clean, laundry to do...blah blah. Happy Saturday![]()

North Dakota got hammered really bad. Bemidji didn’t fare so well either. The husband called me when he got up to Itasca. He had to drive through Walker, and their power was out on his way out, and it’s still out now. He was going to pick up some of our Lost 40 IPA, but not this time.
