Day 7 post op on the knee surgery. It has been hard on me, but I think it's harder on my 14 y.o. dog. She hasn't left my side since I got home. When the physical therapist is here working on me, Rylee puts herself between the PT and me. She has sympathy pains and is stressed. When Mrs Greener lets her out or feeds her, she leaves my side reluctantly. She is exhausted. We don't give dogs enough credit for their perceptiveness and loyalty. Somebody once said, we don't deserve dogs.
